Bordered by the Kaaimans River to the west, the Goukamma Nature Reserve to the east, the Outeniqua Mountains to the north, and the Indian Ocean to the south Wilderness offers 6 kilometres of unspoilt, dazzling white beaches, and many vantage points from which to watch dolphins and whales during season. All rooms are facing the beachfront, with the beach only a few steps away. Within easy walking distance of pleasant, quality restaurants., with the Garden Route Mall and 150 shops is only 10 minutes away.

A restored woodcutters cottage set in the foothills of the Outeniqua Mountains in the Wilderness.Built in the 1940's alongside the main house where breakfast is served. It consists of 3 twin-bedded rooms, an en-suite bathroom and a full family bathroom. A comfortable livingroom with colour T V and adjoining fitted kitchen completes the accommodation. A private garden with a barbeque under a shady wild fig tree overlooks the breathtaking mountain panorama. Undercover parking is also available. Adventure-filled activities such as paragliding, canoeing, forest safaris, shark dives, whale watching, horse riding and birding can be arranged along with the stunning golden beaches, lakes, rivers and forests.

A traditional old style guest house situated in Wilderness in the Garden Route, South Africa. The house is 30 metres from the beach and only 5 minutes' walk from the village where you will find restaurants, shops, an internet café and craft markets on certain Sundays. Breakfast can be served on the deck with the Indian Ocean just a few metres away, or have tea in the back garden where you can enjoy the birdlife and beautiful tree surroundings. The village centre and historic steam train station are only 5 minutes' walk away.
